Death Valley – Entrance to Titus Canyon – “May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view, where something strange and more beautiful and more full of wonder than your deepest dreams waits for you.” – Edwar Abbey

Thanks! Well, not in the summer..LOL. I love going there and wish I could get there more often. They have had rain this fall so flash floods took out some roads and damaged Scotty’s Castle pretty bad. I was there for a couple of days last week and it was great even with some road closures. Fall and Winter are great with no over crowding…more snow on the mountains above in the winter. In the spring if you time it right the flowers bloom in the desert. This is on my bucket list…to hit the right time and see them..it is a little more crowded in March and April due to improved weather and spring break for schools. I’m sure you will love it..and on top of that it is pretty fun for photographers. Sunrise at the Dunes and Dante’s view are something else! I’m glad to answer any questions you may have..Enjoy! Doug

Great pics from Death Valley. I live in western CO and would like to plan a trip to D.V. Do you know what the best time of the year to go might be?
